Optional high quality FLAC stream

Runway Edge has recently launched on the web player an optional FLAC stream for pure high quality streaming. This means the music is purely as good as what is in our library. Our library largely consists of 320k MP3, although we do have some lossless FLAC and WAV files. The FLAC stream nevertheless removes an additional layer of compression so will result in a better audio quality.

Our MP3 stream plays by default for bandwidth reasons, but to change to the superior FLAC stream, all you need to do is press the playlist icon at the bottom of the screen or on the pop up player.

The playlist icon appears on mobile after clicking the bottom right right arrow that opens up a pop up player. It appears at all times at the bottom of the desktop player.
